The newly promulgated regulations under 40 CFR 63 Subpart O have undergone profound changes from their prior version, through the draft regulation issuance and public comment period, to the present day. Amy Moore with Trinity Consultants would like to review these changes and discuss the unique challenges and array of compliance options available under the new requirements.

This panel will consist of 30 minutes of presentation and 30 minutes of Q&A to the panel.

The 2024 EtO NESHAP and FIFRA revisions will require more effective fugitive EtO emission mitigation, particularly in indoor spaces like office areas and control rooms. Sonata Scientific has developed a localized EtO control product with 99+% destruction and removal efficiency (DRE). Melissa Petruska will share the results of both lab and real-world testing that demonstrate its potential to help sterilization facilities meet regulatory standards and enhance workplace safety.
