This white paper presents an independent intercomparison study conducted with the University of California, Berkeley, evaluating the performance of the Picarro Sage autosampler and G2508 CRDS Analyzer against traditional gas chromatography (GC) methods for greenhouse gas analysis. Across certified standards, dilution series, and soil incubation samples, the Sage-G2508 system demonstrated strong agreement with GC measurements for CO2, CH4, and N2O while providing automated, high-throughput analysis of up to 150 samples per day. The results show that the Sage-G2508 solution can deliver GC-comparable accuracy and precision while simplifying laboratory workflows and reducing operational complexity.
