Vapor phase H2O2 is used for biodecontamination in many pharmaceutical processes. The importance of measuring the concentration of the trace H2O2 remaining after contamination procedures is critical for both quality assurance and to maximize yields by promoting proper reactivity and optimizing batch turnaround times.

Picarro offers the most reliable and flexible technology for performing such a measurement at the required ppb level. The rugged,, self-contained Picarro G1114 analyzer provides extremely sensitive and precise measurements. It does this from one or more measurement points, allowing users to multi-plex a single analyzer to measure multiple locations sequentially. No dilution, concentration or other sample prep is required. The G1114 can also be operated as a remote, unattended monitoring station.

Because the G1114 analyzer is based on Picarro's unique CRDS technology there is no crosstalk between the H2O2 and other entities such as H2O and the H2O2 measurement is unaffected by changes in other gas species. Also, data are immune to changes in ambient temperature and pressure. Unlike other trace H2Oanalyzers, the G1114 can operate for months between calibrations.
