Press Release

Santa Clara, CA — November 4, 2020 — Picarro Inc., a leading provider of gas concentration and stable isotope analyzers and systems for science and industrial applications, will once again be participating in the American Society of Agronomy (ASA) and Crop Science Society of America (CSSA) International Annual Meeting. This year’s event will take place virtually on November 9-13, 2020, and the focus will be on “Translating Visionary Science to Practice.”

Attendees visiting Picarro’s virtual booth will be able to talk with our team and learn about the following:

The Picarro G2508 Gas Concentration Analyzer provides simultaneous, precise measurement of nitrous oxide (N2O), methane (CH4), carbon dioxide (CO2), ammonia (NH3), and water (H2O) vapor at parts-per-billion (ppb) sensitivity with negligible drift for agriculture soil science, ecology, and emissions quantification. It operates in open or closed systems, and it easily integrates with chamber systems.

The Picarro G4301 GasScouterTM Mobile Gas Concentration Analyzer is a new generation extra-lightweight and portable, battery-powered analyzer designed for science on the move. It enables the simultaneous measurement of CO2, CH4 and H2O concentrations over a wide dynamic range, allowing effective background, emissions, and soil flux measurements, among many potential applications.

The Picarro G5131-i Isotopic and Gas Concentration Analyzer enables simultaneous measurements of site specific and bulk δ15N and δ18O in N2O. It is an ideal solution for discerning and measuring the source of N2O emissions real-time in the field or through grab-sample measurements in the lab.

The Picarro L2130-i Isotope Analyzer provides high quality measurements of water stable isotopes for demanding applications such as paleoclimatology, hydrology, and oceanography. δ18O and δD high-precision measurements can be made with water samples from liquids, vapor, and solids, using a variety of Picarro peripherals.

The Picarro G2201-i Isotope Analyzer combines capabilities of two Picarro δ13C carbon isotope instruments for CO2 and CH4 into a single instrument. Now it’s easy and fast to capture the insights that only stable isotope ratios offer. Researchers can follow carbon as it moves from source to sink with a single instrument. The dual-purpose analyzer brings simplicity and speed to research.
