Australian Prime Minister (PM) Julia Gillard visited Dr. Margaret Barbour's lab during the launch of the University of Sydney's new Centre for Carbon, Water and Food. Margaret showed the PM how the Picarro CO2 and H2O isotope analyzers are being used to understand plant regulation of carbon and water dynamics in an effort to improve crop water-use efficiency.
