Picarro's Combustion Module, designed by Costech (leaders in combustion systems) is connected to the analyzer via the LiaisonTM Universal Interface. The system is typically able to process samples every 10 minutes with precision better than 0.3 0/00. The liaison unit manages the delivery of the CO2 generated by one sample to the analyzer, the collection of the CO2 from a second sample processed by the CM and a purging routine; all in parallel. All control and data recording is managed by software on the Picarro δ13C analyzer.
