Picarro's CM-CRDS is a fully integrated BSIA device based on Picarro's G2121-i Isotopic CO2 Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy (CRDS) analyzer as a detector. The CM-CRDS offers unprecedented performance and ease-of-use characteristics, enabling high precision δ13C analyses for applications such as food authenticity and safety, plant biology , soil analysis, green chemistry compliance and vector control in public health.

Picarro's Combustion Module (designed by Costech, leaders in combustion systems) is connected to the G2121-i via the LiaisonTM Universal Interface. The system is typically able to process samples every 10 minutes with precision better than 0.3 0/00. The Liaison unit manages the delivery of the CO2 generated by one sample to the analyzer, the collection of the CO2 from a second sample processed by the CM and a purging routine all in parallel. All software control and data recording is managed by Picarro's software on the G2121-i.
