WS-CRDS Analyzer for Isotopic Water Vapor - Model G1102-i

  • Simultaneous, precise measurement of δ16O, δD and H2O concentration
  • PPB sensitivity, precision & accuracy with virtually no drift
  • Fast, continuous, real time measurements without interference
  • Large dynamic range with high linearity
  • Field and laboratory deployable with no consumables
  • Installed and operational in minutes
  • Rugged and insensitive to changes in ambient temperature

The WS-CRDS Water Isotope Analyzer is the only instrument that provides δ18O and δD ratios in real-time in a compact rugged package. These isotope ratios formerly could only be obtained by the use of large, complex, expensive instrumentation such as an IR-MS (isotope ratio mass spectrometry) which required sample capture and a trained instrument technician. In contrast, the G1102-i is a lightweight portable tool that can be used in the field and operated remotely for months with no user intervention, even in harsh environments. Or it can be used as a high-performance laboratory reference instrument. In 30 seconds or less it delivers sufficient precision for the majority of water isotope applications: guaranteed precision δ18O < 0.02 % and δD < 0.05%. The analyzer reports precise total moisture concentration measurements in addition to isotope ratios.

The G1102-i is ideal for origin monitoring, and water cycle and climate studies. Industrial applications include pinpointing sources of moisture contamination in manufacturing processes and accurately measuring the point of origin of foods, beverages and pharmaceuticals.
