Picarro Expands Its Presence in Asia and Latin America
Sunnyvale, CA - Picarro has added two senior executive level leaders in order to further develop its business in North Asia and Latin America. Helio Ventura has assumed the role of Senior Director of Business Development for Latin America. Nobu Fukatsu has become Senior Director of Business Development for North Asia. We've already seen strong international demand for trace gas analyzers based on our unique WS-CRDS (Wavelength-Scanned Cavity Ring Down Spectroscopy) technology, states Michael Woelk, Picarro CEO. With Helio and Nobu in place, we'll be able to fully capitalize on that demand, as well as develop new markets in those territories.
Picarro, Inc. is a privately held company dedicated to developing instrumentation for the precise measurement and identification of specific molecules of interest to environmental and atmospheric scientists, geophysicists, and others monitoring the effects of global warming and change. The company is a leader in cavity ring down spectroscopy (CRDS) technology with eight exclusive licenses to Stanford University patents and nine of its own on CRDS extensions.
